From May 27, 2025, Air Astana will open a new route to Georgia – it will now be possible to get to Tbilisi from Astana, Atyrau and Almaty. This was reported by the airline's press service.

Flights will be operated three times a week: on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Roundtrip ticket prices start from 113,375 tenge in economy class and 308,081 tenge in business class.

Kazakhs will be able to get to the capital of Georgia in two hours from Atyrau, and in 3.5 hours from Astana. All flights will be operated by flagship aircraft of the Airbus family.

With the new route, the number of flights to Tbilisi will increase to 15 per week. Previously, a direct flight to Tbilisi was only available from Almaty.
