The third and final season of the South Korean series "Squid Game" will be released on June 27, 2025 – just six months after the premiere of the second.

Netflix has released a new poster on social media.

This speed is explained by the fact that the third season was filmed immediately after the second. But fans had to wait more than 3 years for the second. Plot details and other information have not yet been revealed. Most likely, the main character of the drama, Son Ki Hoon, will try to put an end to the cruel games.

Recall that the second season of "The Squid Game" broke the record for views in the premiere week. The series gained 68 million views, overtaking "Wednesday" with 50.1 million views in the first week. A week later, the second season of "The Squid Game" became the second most popular non-US series on Netflix. It is second only to the first season.
