For example, Tehran's Amirkabir University installed facial recognition software at its entrance gate to identify women without a hijab. Street cameras also use the software.

Iranian authorities also use drones in Tehran and the south of the country to monitor women in public places.

There is also a mobile application Nazer from the Iranian police, which records violations of the dress code in the subway, taxis and ambulances. You can report where, when and in what transport the violation occurred. Then the transport will be marked in the database, and the police will receive a notification.

The car owner will immediately receive a warning about the violation. If ignored, the car will be confiscated.
