Soldiers of the patrol and guard service of military unit 5510 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan promptly detained a suspect in a murder in Kokshetau, Polisia.kz reports .

The crime report was received by the operations center at about 20:00. The body of the deceased was discovered by a local resident, who immediately reported it to the police. The description of the suspect was immediately transmitted to all police and military patrols.

“While patrolling Auezov Street, 20 minutes later, we noticed three suspicious citizens in a state of alcoholic intoxication. During the search, one of them was found to have an ID card belonging to the applicant who reported the crime,” said the head of the military detail, Senior Sergeant Zhangazy Shaikhin.

One of the suspects tried to escape, but was quickly detained. All three men resisted and refused to follow orders, and were taken to the Kokshetau police department. During interrogation, one of the detainees confessed to the murder.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the crime, and the investigation is ongoing.
