A powerful explosion occurred at a gas station and gas storage facility in the Yemeni city of Al-Bayda, killing 10 people and injuring 65. There were many people at the gas station at the time of the incident.

According to Yemen Online, the explosion occurred in the Zaher district, triggering a chain reaction that spread to two adjacent gas stations and commercial warehouses, causing a massive fire.

"There were a lot of people at the gas station at the time of the explosion. Panic set in as customers tried to escape from the burning complex," the statement said.

Local authorities said an investigation had been launched into the incident.
