1.2 billion tenge and 13 cars seized from the organizers of the financial pyramid Asar Baspana
The Financial Monitoring Agency (AFM) reported that a large-scale operation was carried out in all regions of Kazakhstan, as a result of which the illegal activities of the financial pyramid Asar Baspana were stopped – it was disguised as a consumer cooperative.
The organizers of the financial pyramid offered investors to invest funds in the purchase of real estate, vehicles, household goods (dietary supplements, kitchen utensils, cosmetics and other goods). In return, they promised a profit of up to 30% of the invested amount monthly.
During searches that took place both in the company’s offices and at the residences of the organizers, cash in the amount of more than 1.2 billion tenge and 13 cars, including premium class ones, were found and seized.
Two organizers of the financial pyramid have been detained, and the court has sanctioned a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
