"Our mental health services are conducting an examination of all materials. We will be able to provide comprehensive information later. There are certain requirements, including for guardians of children with mental health disabilities. These requirements imply that they must ensure constant supervision: children must be under constant control," the vice minister said.

According to him, parents can entrust these guardianship functions to specially trained people. Meanwhile, Nurlybaev noted that there are no violations on the part of those who observe and conduct treatment.

"The prescribed treatment had its effect. This was repeatedly confirmed during the child's hospitalization. I will provide detailed and reliable information when the official investigation is completed. The attacker is not subject to isolation if the treatment is effective. And we proved that the treatment was effective. He is subject to socialization," Nurlybayev summed up.

He stressed that this case should not become a reason for stigmatization.

Let us recall that a video appeared on social networks in which a teenager repeatedly hit a five-year-old child with an object similar to a knife. The attacker turned out to be a 14-year-old boy suffering from schizophrenia and registered at a mental health clinic. A criminal case has been opened .
