On February 23, a passenger's backpack caught fire in the overhead luggage compartment on board FlyArystan flight FS 7375 on the Astana-Aktau route. This was reported by the airline's press service.

According to FlyArystan, the fire was quickly extinguished by flight attendants.

"There were 182 passengers on board. The plane returned to its departure point, landing was carried out in the normal mode. Additional information about the situation will be provided after all the circumstances have been clarified," the carrier's press service reported.

The flight was rescheduled for 17:10 Astana time. All passengers were given the opportunity to rebook their tickets free of charge or receive a refund.
