An agreement on the abolition of the visa regime with the Kingdom of Morocco comes into force on March 19. Visa-free entry to Montenegro and the Sultanate of Oman is also extended. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Morocco

The agreement on mutual exemption from visa requirements between Kazakhstan and Morocco will come into force on March 19, 2025. Citizens of both countries holding national passports will be able to stay on the territory of the other party for up to 30 calendar days within every six months.

“The agreement provides for the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of both countries – holders of national passports, who can stay on the territory of the other party's state without visas for up to 30 calendar days during every six months, the countdown of which begins from the day of entry into the country,” the department noted.

Now Kazakhstanis will be able to get acquainted with the history, culture and natural beauty of Morocco and visit cities such as Marrakech, Casablanca and Fez.

Montenegro

The Montenegrin authorities have decided to extend the visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan until December 31, 2025. This means that Kazakh citizens will be able to visit the picturesque cities of Kotor, Budva and Podgorica without the need for a visa.

Oman

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman announced the extension of the visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan with national passports. Now Kazakhstanis can stay in Oman for up to 30 days, whereas previously this period was 14 days.

The visa-free regime does not apply to work, study and permanent residence.
