A resident of the village of Inderbor in the Atyrau region, Azamat Kenzhegaliev, is concerned that his metal monument in honor of a dog named Pshon has been ignored. Although the Akimat of the Atyrau region previously supported the installation of the monument if society approves the initiative. Master Kenzhegaliev said that he created the sculpture as a memory and wanted to convey its significance to people. This was reported by the Instagram account afishi_atyrau.

Let us recall that the dog Pshon helped people build a dam during the spring floods in the Atyrau region – he carried sandbags on his back. Videos of him spread on social networks. In early December, it became known that the dog was shot by unknown persons. A criminal case was opened in the Atyrau region on the fact of cruelty to animals.

Azamat Kenzhegaliev is known as a master who creates various metal products. One of his unique works is a sculpture of a heroic dog from Atyrau. Inspired by the touching story of Pshon, the master created a monument of metal hearts symbolizing the thousands of people who were touched by Pshon's fate. It took the man about a month to complete the work.

Initially, many supported the master's idea, but interest in the finished sculpture faded over time.

"When I told my local government friends that the sculpture was ready, they thought it was strange to erect a monument to a dog. But I wanted to explain that this was not a monument, but a memorial work," said master Kenzhegaliev.

He noted that he would like Pshona's sculpture to be installed in a place where people can see it – this will remind them of the important historical event associated with the flood.

Later it became known that the sculpture would be installed in the Makhambet district.
